Spending more money on pets than on myself

I rarely ever spend money on myself (only food). But I spend so much on my pets.
I care about my pets way more than myself.
I have a dog and 2 cats.

Does anyone else do this?

I have two cats and had to take one to the vet vesterday for an injury to his paw (another cat bite) . Apart from the occasional vet visit they mostly look after themselves. Just put food and water down for them and they come and go through the cat flap themselves. They are great company especialy when im feeling down or lonley.

I got a lab from a rescue org about a year ago. I couldn’t be happier.

I just got myself a male yellow tabby. I would guess that he is about twenty-four weeks old. I’m debating on whether or not to get him neutered. There might be local laws mandating that. He has an unusual attitude for a cat. He’s very assertive. If he sees something he wants he just noses right in there. I’m afraid that if I get him neutered he might lose some of his personality. I’m going to get him a scratching post and his shots. He’s eating a lot now. He’s a growing kitten.

I absolutely love dogs, but I won’t be getting another one right now.
Too much is going on in my life.
I’m not feeling the greatest.

I have a horse.

She was given to me because they were going to take her to the doggerzz otherwise.
She was skinny, malnourished and covered in ticks when I got her.

The vet gave her antibiotics etc and she was given nice food.

She is one of the best things to ever happen to me.

I spend almost half of my new start allowance on her to pay for agistment and food and she has to have her hooves filed every two or three months and her teeth filed once a year and vaccines once a year.

My neigher is so beautiful.
I adore her and miss her so much.
I hope to see her here well and happy soon.
We are moving interstate but I am interstate already.

I used to ride her twice a week before I came here.
I hope to ride her twice a week again soon.

I only buy food and litter for my cat. That is all. I spend way too much on myself though, beginning with my rent. I get ā€œThe Best Cat Litter In The Worldā€ for my cat. It is worth every penny. It is flushable. And it clumps. I get it at HyVee grocery store.

I just bought some Scoop Away Complete Performance litter and it’s the one litter so far that is actually low dust.
I’m very impressed by it.
No dust clouds at all.

I have tried the corn/nut based litters in the past, but they tracked all over the house and were very dusty.
I had to turn to clay litters because of that.
