Something is wrong

I feel worse than I did this morning. Don’t feel right. Something is wrong. Keep hallucinating. Voices telling me to run away. I can feel someone watching me. Something is wrong with my brain. It feels weird. All my thoughts are jumbled. I am switching medicines so my symptoms came back but this is the worse I’ve ever been I think.

Are you taking your meds as prescribed? Esp with your meds change!

Are you a self medicating idiot?

Have you tried meditating?

Do you have any family or friends that can stay with you till you goto bed and hopefully wake up felling better tomorrow?

Sorry to sound so patronising, but these normally explain why people are in crisis/ having a worse day!

Am switching medicines so haven’t been on full dose in four days but still taking it. How do you meditate? It’s hard to think.

I’m sorry you’re going through this, can you can your doctor or the on call and ask about taking an extra dose to get you by? You shouldn’t have to go through this even if you are switching meds.

Mindfulness therapy doesn’t work for a person in a crisis situation,

or

someone who self-medicates for numbness,
and will never reverse symptoms or cure an illness.

You probably can’t get ahold of your doctor today. I would seriously consider going back to my old meds if I was more stable on them.

It has for me when I was in Hospital!

There is so much to meditating that you can learn techniques and apply them everyday.

My local crisis team used to recommend it too, that’s when they call back… Eventually lol

I’m not on the new medicine. Still weening off of ability. We don’t know if I’ll be more stable on my new medicine.

Hey @redanne, are your parents aware of how you’re feeling? You’re only 14, right? It’s really important that you let your parents know what’s going on. That way they can contact your pdoc If necessary.

My mom knows but don’t think she knows how bad.

I’m sorry you’re having so much trouble. I agree that you should let your parents know. You need extra support right now.

I was not allowed into therapy sessions, due to addictions of one kind,

or positive symptoms. Yes, I wanted to do mindfulness therapy,
but it only works for those who are making amends,

that’s what they told me.

How are you today?

@Daze I think you need to be in the right place to utilise it and that can mean being a inpatient!

I’m surprised that they didn’t let you do it, because it’s sometimes used for addictions as is CBT.

I wasn’t doing good and still not. It Isn’t as bad as it was the day I posted this topic but still bad.

Have you started your new meds yet?

yesterday but still hasn’t worked

They can take a while to kick in unfortunately…

Hang in there! Did your Dr offer you any prn? I think lorazepam in low dosage is in my crisis plan!

No prn. Haven’t seen Doctor since med change but no prn.
