What meds i been feeling exactly like that…

Suicidal ideation is a deal breaker for meds. You’ve got to switch. Maybe find a better doctor.

He gave me some abilify to take but disagreed when i told him i wanted to do cross tapering. He said that it shouldn’t be a problem to switch cold turkey. But he is wrong about that. I know for a fact that he is wrong. Now i don’t know what to do and don’t feel like looking for a new doctor. I hate this ■■■■. I’d rather die than experience what i’m going through.

Im about to do the same…i cant imagine fighting this everyday…

Maybe i can try and convince him to cross taper. I don’t want to go through the process of finding another dr.

At least find out the reasons he’s against it. Or just go for it and do what he says.

I have found that psychiatrists know about half of what a drug will do for and to a patient. You’ve got to stand up for yourself. He’s there to help you, not harm you. Sometimes it takes a lifetime to find the right drug. Even then, it WILL have some side effects.

How severe should it be before you confront your doc…

Get to your appointment on time.

I really hope you can either find a new medication or a new doctor to help you. Suicidal thoughts are awful to have to deal with.

I hope things start picking up for you soon. :purple_heart:

@lostinthespace

Does your doc have a emergency call line? Call them and tell them your symptoms or try to get an fit in appt. You need to tell him what is going on and that you need to change meds, cross taper or something. He’s a doc and should help, but if you don’t trust him it is better to just go to er.

@lostinthespace, if you can, try to see another pdoc, maybe not now but when you are more ready.

You might be happier in the long run.

I wish you luck with it.
