This torture has to stop now. Forced medication for 5 years has everyone thinking this is my medication it’s NOT.
just explain to your pdoc or pdocs that you want a different med…I was unstable on abilify.
They said no . Abilify for life. Absolutely not.

My last psychiatrist kept me on Abilify for years even though I was doing poorly.
She finally took me off of it after years of suffering.
The anxiety was too much.
You should be allowed to change medication. Change your doctor.
My arms are so sore from 62 injections.
I think if you write down a reasoned argument on paper and gave it to a doctor, they would have to act on it. They cannot just leave you on something like that if it’s not working out.

I can sympathise. Abilify made me angry, anxious and I didn’t sleep properly on it.

I agree with what the others are saying - try and talk to your doctor and explain that it isn’t working for you. Aripiprazole (Abilify) didn’t work for me either. Didn’t manage my symptoms and actually made my mood worse. If your pdoc refuses to consider other medications, then look at getting a different doctor. This is your treatment, you take centre stage and what you say has to be considered. Good luck.
id like to be on abilify as it ahs an upper in it
They are hurting me I can’t sleep at night because of the repeated injections.
