I had only posted this link to Iltalehti’s article, but somebody had taken the article and translated it and edited my original posting that had only this link. No wonder my paranoia may increase.
It may be my paranoia speaking, but I am very careful always by closing my sz account after my use, but in this morning I had my account open. Something weird is going on.
So somebody hacked my sz account soon after this driver’s license discussion, it might be those Russian hackers or something, well no wonder my paranoia increases.
This is common on forum sites. The moderators can do this
I do not think that anybody should be able to add or edit to original postings and then leave accounts open. This just not make any sense, and their translation was also so poor. We should be able to trust our systems and our postings reflect our thoughts and thinking.
It was a moderator, not Russian hackers. They think they’re being helpful by editing posts but it just causes problems. They should have made a post of their own.
You weren’t hacked.
This does happen , a moderator will either do an edit or remove the post. Don’t worry bout it.
Ok if it was a moderator, but the translation was so poor and there were some untranslated words and I do not want that these poor translations reflect my ability to write in English.
I’m pretty sure that you can just click the pen icon (by the time) on your post and it’ll show the edit and who did it. I can’t see edit details on your post but you should be able to do it.
Yes, it was szadmin, well I learned something today, but things like that can increase these paranoid tendencies, I already thought Russian hackers were after me.
No one is after you mj, calm down buddy. Admins have the authority to keep things under control and organised. They are there to help us so when we have any issue or need some help, we can turn to them. Don’t worry about it. It’s quite normal to have your post edited. But ever you feel that someone is using your password, there is always a way to change your password. Don’t get panic. Keep your password safe as you always do but don’t worry too much about the password thing.
Remember, you can always change it any time.
I am glad this issue was solved. A part of the reason was that I did not know how to check who had edited or added to my post. So I learned something today. My passwords are safe, because I have these in my mind. It is good that I did not need to walk around having this paranoia in my mind that somebody had hacked my sz account.
I don’t ever modify a post without leaving a note or a post saying what was changed, and why. It’s usually to remove profanity that got around the cuss word filter or to delete some of an article where the entire thing was copied and pasted here in violation of copyright.
So, not sure what happened, but it wasn’t me.

Yep, that kind of stuff is cool, especially when it’s mentioned. When an edit changes meaning and isn’t made known who did it, that causes problems.
When I checked who had added to my post, it was Szadmin, but if not Szadmin nor a moderator has done this, so who has? Maybe somebody hacked Szadmin and made these additions. Generally, I do not like when my posts are edited or added to.
Here on the Internet all kinds of things can happen. A year ago I had a Google account and I had just few followers, but then I wrote something on the net and soon I had 500 followers. I do not know if somebody had done something to add these followers, but I did not like it and I cancelled that account at that time.
I think people chose to follow you, that probably means a shitload of people liked what you wrote and wanted more. That’s pretty awesome man.
