No, I simply didnāt write out everything that szadmin wanted to see in my title.

We try to encourage people to use descriptive titles in their posts - so people can easily understand what the posts are about, and so that people get appropriate interest in the posts that they write.
There was a post that was titled simply āIām going toā¦ā
Which didnāt mean a lot to me and which I didnāt understand what the post was about. So I modified it to say āIām going to adopt a dogā - which is what the post was about.
Again - we encourage everyone to use accurate and descriptive titles in their post so that people scanning the list of hundreds of topics - can quickly identify the posts that they are interested in.
This helps you get the attention you want to the post (people reading it) and helps the people looking for the most relevant posts for their interests.
This isnāt a big issue - we edit perhaps 1 out of 1,000 post titles - but some people are very sensitive to it.

I think thatās fair. You wanted to attract more attention to a good news/positive thread.
Relax samples32ā¦not nannyish in my opinion at all. Actually, SzModās actions were kind of a compliment.

No, this in and of itself was not a huge deal, however, I dislike greatly how everyone is being treated like they are incompetent on this site. All of us are stupid, so, we require an overly attentive overseer.
Nah, I donāt agree. Iāve been given a wide birth by the mods. Some of my posts have been a little sketchy but Iāve been left alone in the past 5 months Iāve been here.
Thatās been my experience. SzAdmin is doing a fine job in my opinion.
All forums require moderators. Itās just how we keep everything civil and free of trolls. I think they have been doing a great job maintaining this site as a safe and open space.

A fair proportion of my informational posts(title and body of text) have been edited. Sometimes I get upset/think Iāve done something bad(paranoia for you) but deep down I know itās because Sz admin wants to get the content of the post across to people better.

I think the original title of this thread was something likeā¦āIām doing something funā.
SzAdmin just edited and made the thread title clearerā¦nothing creepy going on here at all. It was actually a compliment and I canāt fathom why people are getting bent over this.

I can see the point of editing the body of some of my informational posts. I would be more concerned if the body of my non informational posts was edited( without anything against the rues being said) rather than the title of the post.
That doesnāt happen though and a wide range of opinions get freely expressed here.
