So just peeled off the dressing from my incision on wed and it’s a bit bigger than expected. I guess the bcc was pretty big because he cut a lot out! I think there’s like one internal stitch and a few normal. Going to leave a good scar for street cred but glad the cancer is gone!

Thanks @TheCanuk , @77nick77 and @Jake . It’s only a bcc skin cancer. So they don’t spread but grow bigger then become problems. Relatively benign but still good to have it gone…thankfully not a melonoma…get that skin checked people especially if your like me and get too much sun!

Perhaps you’re a desert pirate that ran into some nasty Bedouins.
Maybe you’re a secret samurai that fought to save a geisha princess’s honor.
Or you could say you wrestled a komodo dragon deep in the jungles of Indonesia.
Either way, glad everything went well and you’re on the mend

So glad to hear you’re cancer free! And I agree with everyone who says you should make up a wild story for your badass scar. In fact, I think you should tell different people different stories, just to mix it up and keep it fun.

Aww matey I didn’t know you had cancer. I’m glad it’s gone! The scar makes you look like a badass. I thought it was a cricket injury before I read the thread!
