@far_cry0 mindfulness canāt solve this!!!
Don t give up minnii
I canāt really give any advice as Iāve been over weight a long time now. Stop buying junk food, oven bake chips and go for the sugar free pop. Iām slowly coming down in weight, alcohol was my problem. I was told these meds can make you more hungry than normal and motivation can be a huge problem. Iām sure you will get there in the end, good luck.
Thank you guys!
in my case it has helped me with my motivation, emotion ,a lil in my confidenceā¦
i try active meditation rather than passiveā¦!!!
my active meditation includes, intense breathing, catharsis, jumping, pausing for a lil then dancing ā¦
its wholesome look like psychotherapy itself ā¦
i do thisā¦

You will have a bright future if you control your diet.no junk food, more exercises.
I get a high from sugar, a thirst for junk food!! This needs to end. I might go back to being a vegetarian. At least I was healthy back then. I donāt even know how my sugar levels are right now. And my cholesterol.
Are you a member of fitness club? You should be fitness club member. Then you will meet people who can control the diet.
Not yet. Thereās a gym opening close to my house, itās still under construction. I wonāt start a membership elsewhere, I want to go to that one.
Actually mindfulness can help! There are studies about itās effect on addiction, how it alleviates it. Basically the mechanism at work is that it desensitizes you to go grab that snack. You must first go through intense cravings and āliveā through them without acting on them and eventually it gets easier to resist them.
Easier said than done, I know!
Alright alright, Iāll start reading the mindfulness book I bought. Has a bunch of exercises
Without gym, you can also be fit. There are many Videos about workout using public park devices. Gym is better, to be honest.
We wonāt discuss the bag of crisps I had for dinner yesterday. We just wonāt.
Two kilos doesnāt sound as bad as āfive poundsā
Tricky euros!
Do u still practice it,??? @coolfoolā¦
i want to see it result i am also in hit and trail of mindfulnessā¦
so far result are fairer and beneficialā¦
i will continue till i like itā¦
and i want to hear ur experience with mindfulnessā¦!!!
Yes, I still practice! Just ended a one hour sitted meditation
My advice would be not to expect to much of it, or else youāll probably end up dissapointed. It helps in giving you some space in your head to feel your environment, how you feel in your guts and your general mood for the moment, leaves you less trapped in thought and more in feel, from that point on you can build many things by focusing your attention on them while meditating( happiness, steadiness, tranquility, etcā¦).
I try to stay away from thoughts that make me feel physically ill and focus on the changes that happen from then on, itās a little like learning by bits that the fire burns, your mind has the tendency to lead you to places (i am more and more feeling them like places, thought they are in fact thoughts and feelings) that hurt you, and during meditation you just acknowledge āwow, that hurt!ā and eventually start recognizing those places from miles away and how to avoid them.
From what Iāve read you do the osho meditations right? Howās that going for you?
there is a osho center near to my home.i walk up to it daily and have never missed a dayā¦
been 1 and half monthā¦my experience are so farā¦
it has improved my motivationā¦
it has improve my emotion at least i can smile nowā¦
it has improved my self-confidence a bit nowā¦
it has made me positiveā¦
it has cleared my thought and mindā¦
it has improved psychical health ā¦
i also practice vipassana 30 min at homeā¦
hey @coolfool which symptoms of sz have u felt improved by sitted meditation u doā¦just gotten curiousā¦my friendā¦and of course how is Portugal today ???
Working out at the gym will motivate u to eat healthier.
Try to not keep junk food around the house⦠Then you wonāt have the option to eat it!
Also once I started going for a mile walk once a day, I stopped eating like I used to. It curved my appitite.
Another thing is donāt put yourself on some strict sucky diet. Eat what you want to eat but everything in moderation.
I tried to cut out junk food completely when I starting walking a mile everyday (sometimes 2 miles) and I was miserable plus I wasnāt loosing any weight. And once I did indulge in junkfood I enjoyed it so much and had been thinking about it for so long I over ate thinking āIāll just walk it off tomorrowā .
I actually gained more weight trying to eat healthy and walking than eating whatever I want in moderation and walking. But maybe thatās just me. I donāt know. Sorry if my post is poorly written. Lol
Goodluck!
