This is bloody interesting!
They can teleport information with them as well. It would be cool to see this in my lifetime, but I dont think it is going to happen.
It Reminds me of an old John Carpenter classic. Sending messages back through temporal time.
Technology goes forwards in spurts. It really does. You just need that great breakthrough and then it can advance ever so quickly. I’d say not in my lifetime either but we had no internet when I was a teenager.
Might be I can go back into my past and meet myself…say don’t smoke pot and make sure you look good in spandex. Could retro solve all my problems…Years later. I still look poor in spandex!
Unless it’s already happened! The horror!
I love that movie too!
It wouldn’t surprise me if it is a possibility. When I think about the way an airplane looks in the sky, how it’s so far away and traveling so fast, it looks down and it might be further ahead or further back. I don’t know how to explain it but it just reminds me of how things travel fast and seem so slow at the same time. Some how I think things travelling fast can seem slow like I dunno the rate at which the earth spins. Before I was on medication I could better explain such theories.
Anyway, once when I was young I saw a guy on a bicycle inside a store like Wal-Mart. He looked at me and said something about me being special (not in an offensive way) then he pedaled his bike and disappeared. I don’t consider myself special and always thought it was strange. Sometimes i’d like to think some time travel just dropped by to see me because of my delusions of artificial intelligence and theories about how everything we are doing now will be able to be seen someday in the future as if it were a record book inside a library. Or maybe it’s the aliens idea. Hah, sometimes I’d even like to think someday in the future it’ll turn out schizophrenics were early telepathic people in a time when they just couldn’t identify the actual voices speaking. Sorry to go slightly off topic, but yes, I do believe time travel is possible.
Hmmmph. Doesn’t sound like it will be helpful for figuring out where I left the mailbox key.
Very interesting!
