I’m sad about an abortion attempt - on me. I thought I understood it but I’m having a more subjective reaction lately. Like ouch - wombs and knives don’t mix.
Anyway, I hope you feel better soon. We have to treat our woes in waves and let them ebb for a time for relief. If I can care for you in any way, let me know.

No. My mother was pregnant with me and tried abortion.
Oh, I’m sorry! Did she actually tell you this or did you just find out? That’s got to be hard on you. I’m not religious but I’m guessing if I were you I probably would be. That’s scary. Did they know right away it didn’t work or were you a surprise?

It’s all right for you to ask. I need to talk about it anyway. She had told me she had asked the doctor for an abortion but the doctor advised against it. It is only recently that I have put two and two together and realized that she had then tried a few methods of her own. I was a very sick newborn.

Have you asked her about this? Is there any way you could be wrong and you’re torturing yourself for nothing? There’s lots of reasons why a baby could be sick. I was a planned pregnancy and I was sick. They thought I had leukemia for awhile because of my white blood cell count and I had chronic ear infections. Lots of babies are sick a lot. Very common. Babies don’t have a built up immune system and are susceptible to many diseases. From colic to SIDS to everything in between.
No, she has died. She told me, when I was a teenager that she had not wanted me and had wanted an abortion. The revelations of womb time injuries are actually helping me because It relieves the stress of not knowing why I fall so far behind my peers. It gives reason to my being disabled.

I live in an Adult Foster Care home. I’ve been here for 15 years and have never been more stable. But, I am also 75 years old so most of my life has gone by. I never married or had children.
