Jasper is developing the well known pacman frog aggression. I was feeding her with the tweezers and she lunged at me several times honking and grabbed the worm and ate it

@cbbrown silly question here but if you get bit by a packy does it hurt? I mean will it draw blood?

That would freak me out but it’s good that Jasper is healthy.

I’ve been bit once and I had doctor gloves on and it was my finger tip but she let go right away. Pacman frog’s bites can hurt some people and often if it’s mistaken the finger for food they won’t let go till after about 30 seconds to a minute. My friend’s pacman frog bit him all the way up his whole index finger. His frog is a 7 inch female

@cbbrown so you are into amphibians, reptiles, and mammals. Any interest in insects or arachnids? Get a Vietnamese centipede and show your in laws those pincers. They treat you like a queen if you use the VC to your advantage. 100% JK! Of course.

I want a tarantula, but so far my partner says no. either a black Brazilian, pink toe or Mexican red knee.
@far_cry0 my partner wants a iguana but they require a very big enclosure. My in-laws had one for awhile but they put him in a small tank and eventually got rid of h

Awesome! I heard those pink toes are so docile it’s not even funny. Well, maybe in time you can.
my mother in law wants one too so she said if i wanted one i could but my partner said no.

I love it when smaller pets show aggression/agency. It’s cute. It’s less cute when you see your terrier hanging from the postman’s arm.

jasper has been getting more lively lately. i think because she is getting use to eating on a schedule now.

I used to keep snakes when i was younger,
I had a corn snake, rat snake and a albino kingsnake.
They were amazing but i had to get rid of them in the end but they went to a loving home
