Jasper was VERY hungry and bit my finger. Held on for maybe 5 seconds then he let go. I was adjusting the wax worm on the tongs and he jumped at my right index finger.

Maybe though he can’t survive without you he doesn’t want to be ‘caged’.
I had a box turtle I was feeding ground beef to latch on to my. Thumb. I always thought it was reaching its beak for the beef. Maybe it was reaching for me.

Jasper looks a little remorseful in that photo. Either that or he’s bummed that the bigger worm (aka the finger) got away.

Pacman frogs have teeth on the top of the jaw But not the bottom they are curved to better grip the food shoving it into their mouths eating it whole.

Most frogs have teeth and some have teeth on the roof of their mouth. Pacman frogs don’t have that row of teeth on the roof of their mouth.

Just a minor wound on my finger no big deal if I hadnt been wearing vinyl doctor gloves I imagine he could have really sunk his teeth in but the feel of the gloves in his mouth must have thrown him off

Pacman frogs are known to try to eat prey that is almost the same size of them. Sometimes they die trying to eat it or worse poop it out after trying to digest it and it causes a rectal prolapse
