I had this problem of rage and irritability when I fasted now in Ramadan. Today, listening to the pdoc’s advice, I am not fasting and feel much more calmer.
When I’m angry, I like to write in my journal, anything, it’s my free space to vent. I also like to listen to music and dance to get the aggressive energy out. Another thing helpful to me is looking at the sea, its very soothing.
Not good @samples32 look after yourself better please pretty please… Understandable in the heat though. Last thing I want to do is eat solids during the heat waves. But we have to eat.
I have a lot of anger myself. I have shied away from some relationships because I thought the girl had anger issues that might feed into mine. I’ve seen what relationships like that can be like. I think it matters more how you express your anger than how much of it you have. If you shy away any time you see anger you shy away from all relationships. You have to take the bad with the good. I’m pretty emotionally stunted myself. I guess many of us do have big anger issues. It’s how you deal with them that counts.
Uhhhh, yeah. Well, that’d make me upset, as well. (Are you dx’d bipolar by any chance? Forgetting to eat sure goes with that territory. ) (I am bipolar.)
I always feel better after throwing once expensive crystal dishes, cups as hard as I can manage into a cement wall.
I buy these items dirt cheap at garage sales and stash them in my garage, ready for takeoff when the mood hits.
That and tearing old phone books into as many pieces as I can.
Don’t underestimate a thick phone book, it can wear you down pretty quick.
Well, I was briefly suspended for my stupidity. Hah, I do not mean to offend relatives. Anyway, phoenix71767 I am doing well! It takes a bit of discipline not to let a little courage get the better of you. Courage is a bit like rage except it takes courage to not let anger get the better. I did celebrate at a party. Drank a few beers for the first time in months, have a pack of cigarettes, but i’m still trying to remain without smoking daily. Sleeping has been a little easier, edamame is very beneficial to health. Good to hear from you!
