Many things happened that this was possible. Back in 2002, 21 years ago, when I came back from the USA I asked people’s opinions on joining NATO and people did not want to do so at that time. I think that the war in Ukraine changed the whole atmosphere and people then wanted to join. I do not expect my life to change in any way after this new membership. All existing NATO countries ratified Finland’s NATO membership.
