So came off vaping. Chew 4 pieces of nicotine gum now. Should I quit that? Poll

Managed to come of a pretty heavy vaping habit. Was kinda tough and chewing nicotine gum helped.

My question is should I now quit the gum?

I enjoy the gum a lot. Chew 4 pieces a day. I could quit the gum but I kinda like my brain on nicotine. Gum is likely one of the less unhealthy ways to get nicotine

But ultimately I still consider myself hooked whilst on the gum.

Should I quit gum?

Maybe slowly taper down on the gum?

i started quitting cigarettes like this but instead of gum i used nicotine pouches that go in my cheek. they have a lot more nicotine in them than cigarettes. and u will end up more addicted. im way more addicted to nicotine now than when i smoked. and after a while my heart started skipping beats. and i couldnt quit. and my heart got to the point of skipping beats thousands of times a day. and i still cant quit. if i were u i’d quit before u become even more addicted and before ur body cant handle it.

why don’t you try switching to regular gum?

If you like how your brain on nicotine then don’t stop

I was on the gum for 5 years, it helped me get off cigs.

I vape now.

But the gum is a good way of getting nicotine, the other NRTs are good too.

Hope this helps.

I agree with @Wave and @anon82948922. Taper down the gum when you’re ready.

Congratulations :confetti_ball: on getting off the vape!
