Hey guys, i have had sleep problems all my life, i have tried everything but no joy, any tips anyone?
wake up like at 6am everyday 7 days a week and go to bed at a certain time, don’t use cell phone or comp 2 hours before bed, lavender oil on your pillow lol, exercise in the mornings not before bedtime,
Ever since I got sz I had sleep problems
But my pdoc gave me meds that have sleeping component in it so I don’t have sleep problems anymore
I get sound sleep at night but during the day I don’t sleep
Me too. I only recently tried valerian root for the first time, I started at a high dose, 2500mg. It’s helped me a lot so far. The only prescription medication I’ve ever had luck with was ambien, 10mg, but I’m adamantly against seeing a Dr to get anything anymore.
I have insomnia after quitting olanzapine.
Unfortunately I have no tips. If I practice CBT for sleep and practice good sleep hygiene it makes no difference.
Sleep meds work sometimes but a lot of them don’t give you a proper sleep and I don’t feel refreshed the next day. And I develop a tolerance pretty quickly.
Insomnia is a b*tch!
