Skin care routine

Hey forum girls (and guys). I have very pronounced sebaceous filaments in my nose.

I was thinking to try to reduce them.

Is there a product or routine, easy and quick, that you would recommend me?
What does your skin care routine look like?

I believe we are looking for salicylic acid

Cleveland Clinic has info about it. It recommends a routine of exfoliating, salicylic acid, and retinoids. Also, if your skin gets dry they get bigger so I think a good, but gentle moisturizer is important.

Here’s the link:

I tried natural soap and it helped a little but didn’t eliminate them completely

Thanks. I don’t have oily skin, just normal. I believe salicylic and retinoids are too much in this case.

But gonna ask the pharmacy tho…

Ok. What about asking a makeup lady (aesthetician)? They can be quite knowledgeable.

@LilyoftheValley @Wave after talking with the specialist in the pharmacy she recommended me for beginners:
-special cleansing gel
-moisturizer
-sunscreen protection
-AHA peeler

Wash my face 2ce a day, apply peeler in the night and sunscreen in the morning. Moisturize after.

Go to a high end salon and get a facial.

They’ll remove them.

It’ll be easier to prevent than get rid of them.

Start from there.

They’ll recommend you buy all sorts of expensive products.

But ask for ingredients that are important.

Then find those in less expensive products that are still quality.

@Charles_Foster is right. Maybe start getting facials. They are highly knowledgeable about skincare and can give you great advice.

@Charles_Foster thank you so much, I will do this.

Word up,

It’s expensive.

But you only have to go to the salon the one time and you don’t have to buy their products.

Just make sure you get similar products and follow their instructions,

They shouldn’t come back.

Good luck.
