Should i take a chance next year to move out even without a job

Whatever happens with my job, my partner WILL move to a different house next year, more closer to where i am. So if I move in with him, I won’t lose my freedom pass (its a pass we use on public transport so travel around London is free). But I would lose most of my benefits because he earns a certain amount. I would still get £345 a month though. But I would be financially dependent on him unless I get a job by then. Do you still think I should move out? What would his family think of me if I did that? That I scrounge off him?

Maybe I think that more than his family. The thought scares me.

You can try and succeed or fail and move back.

Depends on what your goals are. You sound like you want to be self sufficient and independent from your posts about the future. Like planning ahead.

There is nothing wrong with being dependent but i guess there is optics and insecurity if that support disappears for whatever reasons.

I don’t think being financially dependent on him is a good idea. It’s a very scary idea.

I agree, but I will kinda part-time stay at his until I am more settled with a job…

What do you mean part time stay? Like stay at his place only a couple days a week?

Every now and then … like once every few weeks… until I am more settled with a job.

That’s a good idea. It doesn’t make you dependent on him
