Should I give my case manager a Xmas gift?

I don’t know if this is appropriate.
She is so kind and patient.

Should I give her something small for Christmas?

Is this professional or would it be crossing a line?

I really don’t know what to do.

She does so much for me.

I don’t see any harm in getting her something little.

Maybe some candies?

I think it would be nice and she’d appreciate it.

Keep in mind they may not be able to accept gifts. When I worked in care I wasn’t allowed anything worth more than 25$

Yeah that’s a good idea.
Maybe I’ll get her some candy.
Her favorite chocolates are Reese’s peanut butter cups.
I could get her those with a card.

Thanks @GoldenRex!

When I worked as a social worker we had to decline all gifts no matter how small. The only thing we could keep were drawings, cards or art projects and they were posted in the group home.
