Should I give in and go with Clozapine

I know I’m delusional. I really don’t know to what degree. What if my delusions are on to something.

Last week my doc offered me Clozapine I declined. I see my case manager on Monday and she can get it prescribed to me. She will communicate with the doc.

I went to a family gathering the other day and was extremely antisocial and started to cry. Just feel like I have to do something.

  • Clozapine might help you
  • You seem fine to me

You don’t come across as delusional in your posts but you know yourself best.

Are your delusions interfering with life pretty badly then ?

I’m on Clozaril and it’s helped me a lot :slight_smile:
I’ve become psychosis free, whereas I was psychotic on other meds.
I hope you feel better.

I would try the Clozapine after checking the potential side effects if your pdoc recommends it. Although I know I have issues with my pdoc, it’s all you can do. Tell your pdoc what your concerns are about Clozapine.

I think if you’re okay with the regular blood work and your pdoc thinks it will work for you, it might be worth a shot. Whatever you decide to do, good luck!
