I voted 7 cause it’s a lucky number. No idea what the question is
my fav number too XD, didnt really know how to do a poll but fixed it now.
My short term memory is horrid but my long term memory is fine.
What’s really bad for me is my episodic memory. I can remember things I read but not events in my life.
i have a terrible short term memory, just last night my father in law acknowledged my terrible memory when i forgot to take out the trash. i forget to do chores sometimes
"I can remember things I read but not events in my life."
That’s how I felt (for about 6-9 months) since I started to take the treatment until months after I stopped the treatment… but it (my memories) came back to normal then…
I dunno about my long term memory but since I’ve been in several research studies they’ve tested my short term/working memory and said it’s excellent. I’m in the top percentiles.
It’s so weird because I always thought I had awful memory but I guess it’s just when my symptoms are acting up.
I think my long term memory is much better than my short term memory.
Say about 6 or 7 for long and 4 for short.
I have a good memory for facts and names and visual things
but zero memory for remembering conversations and lengthy instructions.
I’m a visual learner not auditory.
I forget what I have typed half way through a word, makes it hard to type and who are you people anyway???
The other day I was looking for my nail clippers in their usual place, and they weren’t there. I looked around where they usually are and they weren’t in the usual drawer at all. I asked my husband if he took them and he hadn’t. I looked in a different drawer and found them among the bandaids and Neosporin… That kind of thing worries me because I had put them where they clearly didn’t belong (I’m pretty organized, on purpose), and I had no recollection of the last time I used them… My dad started losing little things and putting things in weird places as he was slipping away into dementia.
Me too.
I walk and go “where am I what am I doing “
It’s ok it’s ok make a cup of tea sit down for a moment or ok walking in supermarket ok
I talk nicely and encouraging to myself.
My memory is as it is but I am thankful for the good of it too.
Could’ve worse and I manage.
I often think im on my way to dementia as i age. I am hoping not
Without medication my memory does not exist.
I voted 7 on both because my memory is not that bad. I could be just running into aging issues with my memory. It used to be much better than it is now.
I often forget things I was just about to say. It sucks!
I was going to…??!
