Share a good diet with me

Hey, I followed 2 sorts of diet and I don’t know what to do anymore. I lost 6kg and gained 3kg for 3 weeks. Today I eat like a pig but will try to save the day by eating only veggies till I go to bed. I really want to lose this weight!

Get into cooking! Cook from scratch and never eat processed food or convenience food. Never eat pizzas or takeaways.

When you cook cook for 2 days and make the meal worth it, so you don’t get tired of the effort of cooking. Use a lot of spices, cut back on salt. Don’t deep fry! Get an air fryer to cook with. Use olive oil are quite a few tips.

Just be balanced whatever you do! Eat things high in fibre (steel cut oats, dried apples, vegetables, whole wheat pasta) because they will make you feel fuller longer and you’ll eat less.

Avoid salt because it will make you retain water and crave more food.

Don’t drink too much water just enough 3-4 500ml bottles. More water will actually make you hungrier

In general just make sure you get enough vitamins and minerals because a lot of the time we crave things out of malnutrition

The 3 Types of substances we eat are;
-carbs
-proteins
-fats

Just try to hit 100% for each of these categories. That is the concluded wisdom of the millions and millions of doctors who have analyze what the body needs so just trust them. Read the nutrition facts and just follow what they say (took me so long to realize this). Also stick to the recommended serving on the nutrition facts. If the jar of peanut butter calls a tablespoon a serving then I’d stick with that, and if it’s not enough calories for the meal just have something else! For example instead of having 4 pieces of bread and 4 tablespoons of peanut butter stick with the recommended 1 tablespoon and 2 pieces of bread BUT have something else to go along with it! :slight_smile: a handful of grapes, a chicken salad, whatever; just stick to the label! It’s like having a doctor by your side.

Also as you eat listen to your conscience. That is the Very best guide I feel, but the conscience also needs to be informed, so it’s best to inform your conscience and then listen to it.

always load whatever food you are preparing on a saucer instead of a plate…gives the impression that you are eating a lot of food when in actuality it is just a little. good luck…i’ve been losing weight because there hasn’t been that much to eat all year…just eat to live not live to eat.
