Is there a relationship between asexuality and schizophrenia? Or do schizos have a propensity to be asexual? If so is this due to hormonal imbalances or due to negative symptoms of SZ like lack of pleasure and apathy?
If you have any information on any sexuality and schizophrenia that’d be great, thanks.
Well the hurts of consequences and bad experiences may make some people understandibly want to be asexual.
I have a high drive in lust from my thoughts I guess, and yes I have had my share of bad experiences.
But Iv’e had my good experiences like just recently.
I’m not as horny as before. I still jerk off every couple of days but I’ve stopped looking for sex everywhere. I would have to quit ejaculating a couple of weeks to be able to have intercourse, but have no idea where to find a GF that would arouse me sexually!

I get what you mean about the numbness. I don’t really want a relationship with anyone right now, but I still have a strong sexual drive. I guess because im still in my early twenties and not taking meds.
It’s sometime negative symptoms, sometimes meds, sometimes just due to incorrect thinking. If you ask me, the only asexual person I personally know is very mentally ill. That’s all I’ve got.
I’m not asexual but homosexual. I sometimes have little interest in sex other times I’m willing and wanting to have sex with my partner.
i created a poll for men on sex. disappointing results. its the negative symptoms n medications. no cure till yet 
For me it was meds and negative symptoms.
There are times when I hit a negative swing I’m pretty much asexual.
