Sexual Health, Body Information

An erection in the morning doesn’t have anything to do with your mebtal health. I’ve seen men with advanced dementia have raging morning wood.

Haha, sorry, I’m guessing you must have worked in a care home. More seriously I’m going to start dating as soon as I get my housing situation sorted, so I’ll be needing plenty of dating tips. I was married for over 20 years so my courting technique might need some upgrading.

I dont feel good about watching porn either, mostly for the reasons @anon4362788 mentions. I feel it isnt beneficial for me or others (like the actors).

Lol. Yes, I worked in a couple nursing homes. I saw more penis than most people.

Maybe I should make a relationship advice thread.

I don’t know how to source porn that is made responsibly. I’ll look that up.

Here’s one article

Not that I’d know, but I’ve heard good things about the ‘verified amateurs’ porn category. I’d never touch anything that smacked of exploitation.

I think amateur is safer bet than the film studios.

There’s a classy porn site that’s for women to teach them how to spice up their sexual techniques to use with their partners. I’ve never watched it though.

I do it once a week, I am 30. Sometimes 2. On Abilify used to do it 6 times/day, was painful like balls pain lol

Thanks. Im fine without porn, i prefer to stay away from it in general. But i like the attempt to make it less exploitative and with a different view of women.

Whats meds are you on? I am on Risperdal and it reduces sex drive and testosterone by stimulating prolactine but i don’t really care.

Does anybody know about this?

I heard women’s libido raises for a long time actually, until drops in menopause. Is this true? Does it just disappear completely? I know very little about it.

Is it normal to feel a sharp increase in libido after a med change?
After my switch to Saphris a few months ago, I went from playing the one man band once every two weeks to a least once a day, spending half of the day just waiting for the opportunity/privacy.
While the “once every two weeks” only really occured at all because I’d otherwise start having disturbing dreams.

It depends on what your previous med is.

I’ve had the “once every two weeks” need ever since I started AP’s. I’ve been on abilify, invega, and latuda. And seroquel for most of that time as well.

It’s different for everyone but the majority of women see a spike in their sex drive in theire mid 30s. Pleasure increases, too. I experienced this and found orgasms much easierto reach and sex was just better in general.

Menopause some women see a decrease while others have an increase in drive and pleasure. Scientists think it’s because they’re not worried about pregnancy with every act once Menopause hits.

I don’t know about you, but after coming out as trans, I felt more confident and secure with my body, and started to feel in the mood more often. And after my surgery, my libido went through the roof. Poor Mr. Star has trouble keeping up. Of course, after my surgery, I was able to stop taking birth control, so the hormonal changes might have had an effect. But also, my body looks so much more like MY body now. I didn’t realize how uncomfortable I was with it before now.

For how long you were on Abilify? Abilify made me hypersexual.
