My psychiatrist is considering switching my antidepressant. I currently take fluoxetine. I have never tried sertraline before but that’s what is being considered. I take antidepressants for anxiety and negative symptoms. My anxiety has been bad lately. Is sertraline any good for anxiety does anyone know?
All SSRI’s treat both depression and anxiety. Zoloft is the exact same type of med class as prozac. I personally had a great experience with it at low doses, but everyone is different.
Works well with bad thoughts and anxiety, watch out in the beginning for diarrhea.
I didn’t notice anything from it. Or if I did, there was not a significant improvement. But that doesn’t mean it won’t work for you.
Its been good for my anxiety.
It is the only ad that worked for me
I took sertraline and it helped my anxiety until several years ago when my insurance stopped covering it. My current insurance covers it now, but I’m already adjusted to Celexa so I just take that
I had vomiting and nosebleeds from it. I was misdiagnosed anyway. I didn’t have depression, I had psychosis. When I gave my dentist a list of my meds she said sertraline is really bad. We’re all different though. It might work well for you.
