I take citalopram (Celexa) and it helps me for sure. I still struggle with motivation, and low mood, but it’s way better than it is without citalopram

I take desvenlafaxine er which I believe was called Pristiq in the US. It works pretty well for me and I don’t have side effects. I’ve tried the Prozac and also vilazodone and wellbutrin. Prozac and Wellbutrin made my anxiety worse and I gained a bunch of weight on vilazodone. @anon29983254

It’s classified as an antipsychotic, but Geodon has a mildly antidepressant effect on me. Geodon is a great drug for me.

Ive done some research into Paxil also known as Paroxetine

It is worth a try, i just hope i don’t get any more low mood/ suicidal thoughts on it

Im chatting to my nurse tomorrow

My hubby is dead negative about me changing meds or anything, it feels like he’s making me feel worse , less hopeful. Im sticking to my decision to try this though. Tired of feeling so low

some people become manic after having one. watch out.

people here should not be recommending meds anyway. that is what pdocs do.

Well my nurse actually suggested that i do some research and decide which antidepressant to go on myself. So im just collecting ideas from people. Theres nothing wrong with chatting about antidepressants? And personal experiences

Also the Paxil lowers blood glucose level, so might be good as im diabetic

Not recommended to take SSRI with clozapine?

I’m taking clozapine and sertraline at the moment

Yeah i found that on NHS UK webpage about SSRIs

Its baffling

Interesting
Maybe that’s why the lower I got on clozapine the better I feel lol

Gonna try lowering sertraline too…gotta see with pdoc first
