Is here anybody who takes that drug in this dosage? How do you feel? Have you got a job? What sort of job?

I take 400 X 2 daily, and I can’t really tell I’m taking it. Some people find it very sedating, though.

I was once on only 100mg a day of seroquel many years ago after my first episode. Wish I was on such a low dose now.

Try taking it at night, cut up if you want to sleep like a baby.

I take about 500 mg at night for sedating effect.

I still have the psychosis most of the time, never responded to any of the drugs/combos we tried. Have to settle for rested.

I took it at night at 100mg mostly as a sleep aid but I would sleep way too long and it was impossible for me to get up so I stopped after about 2 months after talking to my doctor. Everyone is different though so who knows how it would affect you, maybe just try it for a few weeks?

I took 100mg of Seroquel for a while. I took it at night fro sedation and sleep. I stopped it because of bad side effects. If any drug is different for different people, it is this one.

martinhersey1 how long did you take seroquel?

I have 300 mg. I don’t sleep without it. Makes me sleep 5-8 hours.

How’s with your activity on seroquel?

I am on 450. At my worst 600 but I had a bad fall and fractured my ankle because it caused a side effect that when I stood up I would fall. Something like low blood pressure. I rolled over on my ankle

Lowest I’ve been on is 200.

It works well But the dose can be adjusted.

All the best.

Seroquel in dose 100 mg is similiar to placebo in side effects? What do you think?I mean concentration ability to learn and motivation?

I take that, quetiapine 100mg. I work part-time at the Goodwill. It helps me sleep and behave calmly.

I was told by my Pdoc that anything under 200mg of Seroquel isn’t really an antipsychotic, it’s more of a sleep aid. Unless you are already on another AP at the same time, I would imagine it is rare that a Pdoc prescribe 100mg Seroquel for the purpose of being an AP to be used in monotherapy.

The nurse caught me fainting in the hall. I kept going unconscious at least 2 times. They thought I was diabetic. Seriquel is pretty good to a lot folks.
