Is anyone on a combination of Seroauel and Gabapentin? I take 100mg of gabapentin 3x a day and 200 mg of seroquel before bed, the gabapentin works great kills most of my pain and helps my anxiety during the day but not my psychosis and the seroquel worked amazingly at night for two months for sleep and psychosis but now not so much and they want to up the dose. Has anyone else tried this combination any thoughts? i was on celexa and it caused some very bad side effects and they pulled it and put me on the gabapentin which i love im almost pain free after 10 years of constant pain.

I used to be on gabapentin anseroquel. Is a good combination but can cause weight gain. I would recommend the seroquel XR. In my experience I found it gentler than the normal seroquel.
I was on Seroquel before I started Abilify, and I can say that by itself, it definitely helped me manage anxiety and psychosis. Unfortunately, after titrating up twice, it wasn’t working and I was having bad side effects. I’m not taking abilify, and I swear it’s like the opposite drug. I used to sleep a lot and I could sit still on the couch for hours. Now, I squirm while I’m sitting and am compelled to pace frequently (akathisia).

I have been on quetiapine for anxiety and insomnia, and gabapentin for pain, but I have never tried taking them together. Drugs like amitriptyline and chlorpromazine can help with pain as well as mental illness. I have never tried pregablin, but it can also help with pain and anxiety.

I have been on both gabapentin and pregabalin separately. You need less pregabalin for a similar effect. But I would say gabapentin is slightly better for social anxiety.

I took this combo for many years when I was a kid (12-16) for insomnia and Oppositional Behavioral Disorder I guess. I was a minor so I really don’t know all the details they would only tell my mom. I was on a bunch of stuff before that but that’s the the combo that stuck. It knocked me ouuuut when I took it at night. It would always be a very rough time getting up it was a weird kind of semi deep sleep. I randomly googled the combo and I was intrigued when I stumbled across this.

I was on seraquel puts me to sleep but made me gain alot weight so i had to switch to rexulti. If the combo works for stick. Its hard to find a med combination that works for someone. Looks like you find yours. Have a good day.
