Good luck. I’ve been seeing mine weekly to take care of the paranoia I’ve been getting. How long do your meetings usually go? I’m sure they’ll be happy to hear how well you are doing.

15-20 minutes. Last time was right after a drug binge. I was a little loopy but I joked so you’re not institutionalizing me he said not yet. As I was leaving. And he said I should go to a clinic. But he wasn’t against it in any way. My pdoc is really cool he’s up on the latest and greatest. He’s a hippie he went to Woodstock. A nerdy one but he prefers intellectual badass. He’s a comedian a bit. He trusts me lol he’s the chilliest pdoc ever I think and I see him every time I run out of klonipin. On my other scripts he writes 11 refills. But he has me see him when I need the kpin. For a while I wasn’t taking kpin and didn’t see him for 4 months. I saw him and it made him see my improvement on a larger scale and now he trusts me a lot. And he listens to me.
At first when I saw him 20 years old he was really helpful. At 24-28 once he got me on meds he was like non attentive to me. But now I do so well he pays attention to me a lot and gives me praise not just what I felt was false hope. Well either way I’ve been through a lot with this pdoc.
One thing I like about him is he says what you need to hear when you need to hear it. He sacrifices his pride to speak on your level. Unless you get rowdy he puts you in your place. But he’s always just exactly a half step ahead of you…where u need to be. And he has a mafia side.

My pdoc is a young African immigrant. She’s pretty chill we ■■■■ talk police and stuff but she also is works really hard to see how I am doing. She makes sure to see if I’m doing well and has ways of checking without letting me know. Sometimes she makes me do things like making a good memory box or something I think is stupid but I understand she is trying to get me to focus the positive side of things
