Hey @Wave, you seem to frequently adjust doses of medication on your own without doctors approval. You also seem to pay the price in that your symptoms often get out of control and you have many mini crisis’s. Are you sure you’re going down the right path with adjusting doses on your own? I mean once you started doing that it seems you find it hard to take the dose your doctor recommends and you seem to have frequent “episodes”.
He prescribed 50mg tablets, up to 100mg of Seroquel as an emergency anti manic medication, not for sleep issues, although many times I have trouble sleeping
That most difficult thing to deal with after schizophrenia for me, is the medications effect on tiredness for sure - now that I don’t smoke, my oxygenation should hopefully be efficient enough for me to work more when i finally find students to tutor i hope
@Wave, I take 150 mg of Seroquel every single night in addition to 240 mg of Geodon in the daytime and 3 mg of Risperdal at night. And I’m almost never groggy or sleepy in the daytime. And I generally sleep well at night anymore (ever since I got my weighted blanket)(they help autistic people sleep.) Goes to show how different we all are.
