I’m sza bipolar and seroquel has been so amazing for me. Only had a few days of positive symptoms . I’m on a low dose too, 100mg of the Xr kind

I’m on 100mg instant release Seroquel, don’t have a diagnose yet.

That’s interesting you are gettin by on low doses. I will be trying 50-100mg seroquel myself in a couple of months to try replace 5mg zyprexa with my doctors consent.

I feel like my body is super sensitive to medications, I can usually get by on low doses of most things. I’ve assumed it’s because I’m autistic, there’s some proof autistic people are more sensitive to meds

Yeah, I am very sensitive to meds too for reasons unknown. Have basically been on 5mg zyprexa for many years which is a sub clinical dose for sz, so a low dose of seroquel will hopefully work too.

I used be on 5 mg Zyprexa, but honestly I hated it, felt like head was stuffed with cotton no offence if it work for you.

No, I am not a fan, I get what you mean with that cotton feeling I think, also gives me poor motivation and very low libido. I have been on it for 16 years. My first doctor refused to change my meds because they “worked so well”. So I had to apply for a new doctor which I got a few years ago and we have been making progress.

My libido has improve on Seroquel, also my psychiatrist believe I’m sensitive drugs to the point I got akathisia on lowest possible dose of 1.5MG vraylar.

Can I ask you weather you have brain fog on you’re current dose of Seroquel?

I have not noticed brain fog on seroquel. It actually cleared some of that up for me

That great, unfortunately for me I get brain fog from Seroquel, thinking switching to something else.

I take it every few days otherwise I always feel bad in the mornings.
