Second loading dose of Invega Sustenna

I just got it today and my symptoms feel pretty much gone. Is this possible to act so quickly? Because I didn’t feel this from the first loading dose? I also had coffee which stops me from my paranoia. Not sure what is happening?

Placebo effect. It wouldn’t work same day. It needs time to get in your system.

I misread, second dose. But still don’t believe it does anything first day.

It says online it can work within hours.

Hm, that’s interesting. I hope it is helping.

Yeah, Invega shot can act pretty quickly…I think that is the big difference between shots and pills. It did for me. You still generally need time for your delusions to fade though. It may take weeks to get the full effect. Good luck with it flowers20

I’m so tired of not being sure about everything.

Give it time. Invega worked wonders for me. I didn’t like it long term but it sure brought me out of psychosis quickly.

Was invega the first drug you were given or did you go through multiple med changes before reaching this one? Also what bad long-term effects?

Well haldol was the first drug I was ever given but I went off it and then had another psychotic episode. Invega brought me out of it.

It made me feel kinda zombie like. I also think that it contributed to my Anhedonia.

Stay on it for awhile if its helping you though, @flowers20 . You can always try switching AP’s at some later time if you get stable. And maybe you won’t even have the same bad experiences as me. Some people like it.

Everything is pretty much clearing up except my boyfriend being the devil and therefore behind all these things that I’m scared of. The Pope said the devil was a person not a metaphor, and this really bugs me. I’m not sure what to make of it.

That’s a good start.

I forgot to mention my weight gain on invega. Thats something you might want to keep an eye on.

If my boyfriend isn’t the devil, then I have nothing to worry about. But if he is, then I have everything to worry about.

Even if you believe in the devil is a real person…out of the 8 billion people on earth, what are the odds that your boyfriend would be the devil? Well, to answer my own question, the odds are obviously 8 billion to one. You are probably more likely to win a million dollar lottery 50 times than have your boyfriend be the devil.

So why does the Pope find it significant to warn the population about it?

IDK. We are kind of getting into religion a little bit more than the forum allows now though Flowers20.

Well other popes don’t talk about it like this, so maybe he’s wrong?

If the devil were a real person he would have to be at least several thousand years old would he not? I would think that would preclude your boyfriend from qualifying.

My boyfriend looks old but he says he’s only a few years older than me, so he lies about his age.
