About three weeks ago I bought two tacos for 99 cents on the Jack-in-the-Box app. I went to pick them up but I couldn’t make it and there was no way to cancel the order so I lost the 99 cents. Jack-in-the-Box sent me an email asking about my experience with the app and I told them my story and I said McDonalds and Wendy’s will let you cancel an order so why don’t they?
I got another email back from them about two days later from vice president of customer relations of Jack-in-the-Box apologizing and saying she would send me some free coupons to make up for it. Well, a week went by and I didn’t receive any coupons and I got another email from some manager asking how I liked how my problem was solved. I said I didn’t like it because I hadn’t received the coupons I was promised. She apologized too and said she would make sure I got some coupons and three days later I got two coupons for two combo meals. And then two days after that I received two coupons from the original lady! Score!.
Today I was across town for my podiatrist appointment and afterwards I went to the nearest Jack-in-the-Box and got their most expensive sandwich for free.
