I balked at offical 10 hour version!! haha I’ve the attention span of a goldfish and I’m not listening to ten hours of anything!
I really do like a lot of different music that relaxes me. It really does and a lot of it is punk and metal. Hardcore even. I’m sure this will work for some but you can’t change your upbringing and what you listen too…I like discord! That helps me relax!

I feel you on that, I’m a big metalhead too but for meditating and calming down when you need it, this music is perfect. Just for like background ya know?
It’s electronica. I do a lot of electronica but I doubt a lot of your supposition. Where is the proof?
I’d say husker du’s albumn Land Speed Record does more to reduce my anxiety to this stuff that is formulaic and just rubbish…I did listen to the start…it’s like Mike Oldfields Tubular Bells.

Well I read the band worked with sound therapists to create it and it lowers heart rate and blood pressure and all that. But yeah to each their own, I just posted it because neuroscientists have proven it reduces anxiety

Pink Floyd did that years ago. Dark Side of the Moon has the hearbeat as a common theme throughout it. It really made an amazing ablumn and I suspect it’s up the same albumn. It’s not the first time people have realised that music can calm people…I just like mine a little more racy!

I suspect it’s the hearbeat…that is a proven psychological affect on people. As I say each to their own…it’s not new!
