if you have voices & delusions you will be easily diagnosed as szphrenic.
I do hear voices and my doctor says I’m delusional. I guess I’ll just wait…
yes. you must be officially diagnosed…
I often feel like I am faking all of this but then “they” start speaking to me. When this happens, it feels like something/someone else is doing my thinking for me and it can be very scary.
I’m beginning to accept that I might be experiencing delusions, but these things seem so real and I cannot let them go.
I’m currently unmedicated and have been referred to a psychosis team also.
Just remember - if your doctor didn’t think you were experiencing psychosis then they wouldn’t refer you to a psychosis team!
Thank you for validating me! It means a lot.
Are you diagnosed with schizophrenia?
After all its a Internet website @shutterbug, your rules are in your place good. But she also has a chance of schizophrenia and what is the problem with clearing the doubts.
I constantly struggle with the feelings of i might be faking my symptoms, but then another bad psychotic episode comes or a delusion (last one was i thought i had rabies) and after it passes im like uh naybe the drs are right. I think alot of us struggling with insight have the same problem?
The DX-SZ/SZA forum is for those with a formal diagnosis. Those who are not formally diagnosed with SZ or SZA need to post in the DX-OTHER forum. We’ve had problems with those who have the DXes getting crowded off this site by those with other DXes. This arrangement was created to resolve the issue.
That’s okay
Nope, I don’t have any diagnoses! Maybe I will soon but whatever it is, I think I’ll have a hard time accepting it.
Whatever diagnosis you get, if you get any, just remember: recovery is possible!
A few days after my Aug 21, 2017 post I decompensated and was hospitalized for 5 weeks. Sorry about this post by me. There was nothing here about anger.
