Schizophrenia paradox

Researchers are perplexed by schizophrenia and why it has been with our species for so long. It hasn’t died out and it seems there is an evolutionary advantage to it. I don’t really know what that advantage is and it seems its a mystery to the scientists to. Thats why its called the schizophrenia paradox. What do you guys think? Why has schizophrenia not died out? I’m interested in this because I want to know why I might have this disease

Stone age man and woman only lived till they were about 25. Women develop schizophrenia later than men.

So plenty of time to reproduce before schizophrenia hit and pass the genes on.

Also loads more ppl doing drugs now. So more ppl getting sz. As drug induced.

It’s like cancer. It’s not exactly advantageous but ppl still getting it all the time.

Even more now than before.not just cos of an ageing population

With mild schizophrenia i was able to rhyme and sing about anything. Maybe it was like being a rock star and youd get people to sleep with you with charm.

Theres also the added ability of being seemingly more intelligent because we talk about things that would perplex a normal person.

Theres also the added vulnerability of some that would probably be enslaved and taken advantage of.

Tho it wouldnt surprise me if the main reason was because we re pretty normal just that some people got hit harder than others with this sickness. Also schizophrenic homeless people still do the nasty and give birth on the streets. So really, its just like were normal but with the added flair that the sun god talks to us or something.

ODB has seven kids hehe.

Some research suggests that these genes by itself give more creativity but combined cause detrimental effects.

One study in Iceland showed bloodlines with schizo people have higher status relatives and more creatives, then bloodlines without. Might be coincidence though almost everybody is related there.

I made this in the midst of psychosis -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XmDCPH9_Fb8

The favourite track I have made so far, I was speaking to the great Lee Scratch Perry, he is the master of Dub and also schizo.

He gave me some advice:
*Be faster then machine
*Filter with filter
*Eat the sun (we were sending images to each other he ate the sun)
*One and a zero you’re not a hero (analog is better then digital)
*Real show real
*Humble will crumble
*In the heat of the fire, don’t burn your desire (don’t start smoking during a sesh)

Mad innit?

You also have the guy from rudimentary peni a sick punk band he goes off his meds and descents into psychosis to draw. He is displayed in several galleries.

Then you got HR from the bad brains, absolute legendary singer, summons god during his performances
