Anything is possible…
The truth is that mental health professionals know very little about sz.
Very few answers.
Everything they bring up in the article happened to me. I guess it’s just as plausible as blaming it on the government. It’s all bogus though.
“Demons are unseen creatures(…)” stopped reading right there.
This is such fu cking garbage
One of the possibilities is the demon world? Who wrote this sh it? Someone 6 feet deep in psychosis?
I thought I was possessed. Then I thought I had gotten rid of all my demons so I came off meds for a while. I was back on meds within a month.
We don’t know where voices come from. We suspect they are created by some of our own neural circuits gone awry. But we don’t know for sure yet. Just as we don’t yet understand how our normal thoughts emerge into consciousness…
When I fell into psychosis after I realized I didn’t have powers, I thought someone put a spell on me
There are bazaar symptoms that can’t be explained.
the two are different though there is some overlap. its an interesting question to say the least
I originally thought it was possession
Well, it’s a journal of religion and health, can’t expect them to be totally objective.
Regardless of whether it’s “possession” or not, meds give you the feeling of control back.
There is a massive difference between severe mental illness and demonic possession. And any good demonologist or exorcist knows the difference.
Nobody knows the cause of schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder, otherwise the cause would be treated with medication. As it is, the medications only treat the symptoms.
But the cause is definitely not “possession” in the vast majority of cases. Possession is quite rare. And severe mental illness is all too pravalent.
There is also no connection to the “sixth sense” and psychosis.
Maybe people believed 2000 years ago that mentally ill people are “possessed”, but I think we have evolved quite a bit since then, and science has disproved it.
I feel possessed by Thoughtless, an hebephrenic that controls my mouth, my hands, my face etc.
I think there is a connection to a sixth sense through psychosis. My voices have told the future accurately too
TV says what I say or what I think.
Of course I have a sixth sense that I can cultivate and be more accurate in the future in other things too.
There must be a precognitive gene in us somewhere
I think in a past life I was possessed or had command hallucinations from aliens, but it could have been just very severe schizophrenia. I remember some of it. It’s as severe or worse than catatonia. In my past lives, I had delusions that I was being mind controlled, and also messed with by aliens. So far this life is pretty good.
