Schizophrenia is difficult, but I believe that it is an adaptable disorder. If you work on adapting to the situations,in a positive way then more positivity will come about. Often we represent our own reality in a sort of feedback loop, and the more you conform to a peaceful sense of life then the more will come about through clarity.
When I have heard a voice, it was not a very loud obvious one. It’s more like a knowledge-abe statement of possibility. I run through possibilities in my head like a computer. The mind works in such a way that we can afford to make mistakes, but many are on a certain path. Even if you have an illness like schizophrenia, you can adopt the attitude of gratitude for what you can achieve. Surmounting the odds is difficult, but even when things seem impossible, there is always a silver lining that will bring about healthy change.
Schizophrenia is not a punishment. It’s an adaptive response to impossible and life threatening situations. There are many possibilities, like a neverending road woven throughout time, every path leads through time until it peaks and then merges with another path in time. When you reach a fork in the road you have to choose right or left, and observe the reactions of others. Some people are not your friends, but there is no perfect explanation for the intellect that equips certain people with survival skills that some lack.
I believe schizophrenia for some is a survival mechanism in its full expression of the illness. There is no way that a person can just drop everything, become nuts, and never be the same again without a definable cause. But hysteria is another unexplored topic. Hysteria is a response to a stressful and traumatic experience. If someone is hysterical it doesn’t mean they are crazy and unaware of the world around them.
