Schizophrenia begins in the womb, study suggests

I know I’ve always had this disease.

Me too, since childhood I was in prodromal stage.
Should have left Israel at 18.

Always thought we were born with it, I was always different as a child, got punished a lot

I had psychosis very rarely as a young kid once or twice a year. It just felt like my emotions were magnified, mostly negative emotions like alarm and anxiety. That’s what psychosis feels like to me now too, so I am able to deal with it better than some who are completely consumed by delusion. Maybe my childhood psychotic auras prepared me for my adulthood as an occasionally psychotic schizophrenic.
