Never go into an appointment demanding or requesting an anti-psychotic. This is ridiculous and irresponsible. If you need an AP, they will simply prescribe an AP.

Writing down your symptoms sounds like a good idea, even keep a journal if you need to. Melatonin should be find and shouldnāt negatively affect anything. Iām glad youāre off your old meds.
@SlowMotional I donāt think I will ask for one. The only thing I have been prescribed before is risperidone but then I didnāt take it
I had my medication review today. They want to put me on risperidone but they are worried it will make my catatonic symptoms worse (I donāt know what that means at all).
They also wanted me to have an EEG (something like that) to see if my symptoms were caused by some kind of epilepsy. Has anyone had this before? Iām not sure if I want to do that because Iām scared about people strapping things to my head - they would have to do it during an episode
Itās natural to do an EEG to rule out other medical conditions before diagnosing schizophrenia. Nothing to worry about
