It’s crazy how ever since I quit smoking my levels of anxiety have been practically nil.

I’m also super tired, haven’t slept enough lately. I have been sleeping but not enough to feel recovered for gym and studies

Hey everyone

How are you doing

Hello Crystal, I’m super bored - the weather is rubbish in the UK today

How are you?

Edit: In a separate note; vaping is terrible for me. makes me angry as hell when i stop

I’m fine
Idk what to do - quite bored

That’s good, and yeah I know what you mean. I’m the same atm. I’ve been studying but my brain can only focus so much. Now I’m listening to music and annoyed that there’s nothing else to do

What do you usually do to occupy yourself?

The same as you - listening to music
Sometimes I do online IQ tests for fun

I see, it seems this is very common on our forum - listening to music ; it’s probably because it’s easier to do than things like watching movies or playing games

That’s interesting. I haven’t done an online in test since I was a younger teen; like over 12 to 14 years

Do you ever read much? Or research any topics of interest online? This is what I do mostly

Well sometimes I google math topics and psychiatry stuff

I don’t google maths, but i do google psychiatry a lot !

I find it easier and interactive to google stuff than to sit and read a book - that’s how most of my learning is done. ChatGPT is really handy nowadays too, it’s kinda the best of both worlds (bitesized information but interactive too).

I hope your Sz gets better. At your age I was super into games, anime and films - I never ever felt bored back then

Good morning y’all.

It’s windy and crappy Belgian summer weather.

My sister left for Switzerland this morning where she is going to do a retreat with a Dutch princess. She likes the good side of life.

I have the house all for me alone today.

Will probably study in a bit.

What will you study.

I’m gonna hit the books now too, I have nothing better to do.

@Crystal-Cotton it’s a maths textbook !!! :joy:

I remember math when I was studying Economics. I found the hardest exam questions to come up with proofs that you hadn’t seen before, but I did well.

I’m going to study my microcredential. I’m studying week 4 now. It’s called ‘Teacher Decelopment: Embedding Mental Health in the Curriculum’.

I find it really interesting. It’s from the OU.

How are you today @MisterApple ?

You had to do proofs in your course?! Where did you study econ if you dont mind me asking. My school was a lowered ranked one so i never came across proofs in econ; physics was a different story though - i quit as soon as i saw them lool :joy:

Ah sounds good. did you finish the personal finance microcredential/course?

I’m doing alright man, if the weather was nicer - I’d be a 10/10 but cos it’s not, i’m only 7/10 - can’t complain though; that’s pretty a good :joy:

Cool! I have some university level math books but I haven’t read them yet

Smart lady!!! It’s good you have them; take your time starting them - it’s not easy! I still have my open univeristy textbooks which i’ll keep for when i need to do more tricky maths

Yeah I had to do proofs.

I studied at the KU Leuven which is the number 1 ranked Belgian Uni. It’s also in my hometown so it seemed like the logical choice.

I cancelled the financial accounting microcredential as I thought that 1 microcredential at a time is enough. And I also felt that the topic was going back in time. There are new topics that I need to focus on for my future career.

I hope that studying will make you feel better today despite the dismal weather.
