I’m tired but wired. I didn’t sleep even a few minutes last night. Trying to stay awake so I’ll sleep ok tonight. Helped my dad clean out his fridge. He talked about politics as usual. I’m not complaining about it. That’s what he talks about.

so places i would like to live if i had the money. northern california close to the ocean. mountanous parts of colorado, a ski town preferrably. western montana. asheville, north carolina. michigan on the great lakes. and i used to really like coastal oregon and surrounding areas, but i think that’s just because we exerienced pretty good weather while i was there.
but i will most likely be here for the long term in southern indiana. it’s not bad, the weather gets a bit hot in the summer, but winter is only like 3 months and mild. a long growing season. the biggest complaints outsiders have about our area of the country is the high pollen count, the humidity, and the bugs. but im used to those things by now. plus i have the river and surrounding hills to make it a little more scenic. northern indiana is much more flat, with more farms, i think, but i don’t go north much so don’t qoute me on that.

Every time I sleep now, including naps, I end up having nightmares. Each time, they seem to get more vivid. Lately, it’s been nightmares of being ridiculed by people and then being told I’m hallucinating, just like I think happens irl.

one thing i can say about my dad. is he owns a library full of books, and basically not a single one i have any interest in reading, other than his small section on investing. i think a person’s library says a lot about them. how can two people who have similiar genetics be so different?

I was always a straight A student whereas my daughter did enough to get by. My son loves animals I could care less about them (I mean I don’t mistreat them).

I just got home from the thrift shop and grocery store.
It’s so nice we got paid today.
I might order some pizza later in the month. But tonight I’m gonna throw a store bought pizza in the oven for dinner.
I was feeling anxious after running my errands, but feeling okay now.

I need to get the ■■■■ out of this house. My so-called bf picked me up by the throat in rage because I responded to something his stepdad said and acted like I was responding to a hallucination. He threatened to slap me and raised his fist at me like he wanted to punch me.
I’m sick of being put through legitimate abuse and being manipulated into thinking I’m hallucinating things I’m actually not just because I can’t shut out noise and end up eavesdropping.
As soon as someone can get me a ride, I’m leaving.

Don’t tell him your plans. I was with an abusive man. I was scheduled to work but instead of going to work I went to a domestic violence shelter.
