Hi @Loke not to be stinky but the title in keeping with tradition would be ‘Say Anything LXXXVIII’

I had to chime that one in.

I usually don’t say things like that but we’re among friends.

Of course. And really you pay the bills for your house so I believe you are allowed certain freedoms. Ja?

The farthest I go with that is getting a kink-y in my side. I mean I chase a supposed Skunk around town but I never get anywhere with it. Same thing year after year and episode after episode. Can’t tell you how many times production talks nearly broke down.

Thank you very much, @ThePickinSkunk.
Yes I’m open to receive correction. (uhh not physical correction )
(I don’t know if it’s correct to say in English “receive a correction” because in french that means “to be beaten” :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:  )
So yes it would be very kind to have explanation & correction of my mistakes.
It’s hard for me to use “present perfect” & preterit

I can’t always put my words correctly in sentences and combine verbs well.
I should have listened at school !!

I used to watch a lot of Tv shows before. Now i’m able to understand pretty well a lot of things when i’m listening to english talks, but not everything of course.

@Loke Thank you too.
It is rather easy for me to understand simple discussions, but not when it becomes “technical”. For example, the conversation about having sex on the first date was not easy to fully understand, far from it.
Technical English as far as IT is concerned, I understand that.
(this paragraph was brought to you by google  D)

See you, all, maybe tomorrow.
I have to go to bed !

Have a good night. And of course I won’t physically beat you. After all your country came to America’s aid during the revolutionary war and our civil war so we can be buddies.

Haha. I know you were joking but if I ever go to the deep south in Cajun country I won’t use the word ‘correction.’ I don’t want to get eaten.

Suppose that statue will have to come down next. Probably not but things are getting pretty silly out there.

I haven’t really been watching the news. Why would they take the Statue of Liberty down?

They wouldn’t. I’m just mad that certain civil war era statues are being removed from national parks and monuments.

Oh. What’s going on there? I mean do they consider the statues racist or something? I mean ie the southern flag is considered racist.

Yes. The Confederate statues they do. I don’t mean to come across as insensitive to racism but I am sensitive to preserving American history. That’s my only gripe.

Yeah. I get it. Taking down statues isn’t going to fix race relations in this country.

English in general is hard. Even native speakers mess up words. There’s a saying in language studies, " English mugs other languages and rifles through their pockets for loose grammar".
