Morning. Im starting a new therapy group on monday. “Foundations for change” - 2 hour sessions in a group of 5. All todo with the drinking. Mind you i have been 3 weeks sober.
Im testing the waters, see how i get on. Im probably going to go the private route and pay 12k for one 2 one therapy from a clinician. Maybe sounds a bit overkill, but i seriously don’t want to fall off the wagon again after a couple of months, which usually happens.
Ive got the option of in-patient. But i kid you not - the rehab house literally backs on to my block of flats in the road at the back, so pointless - when i can come home here.
Other that that - im plodding along. Im going to ask the lodger if he wants to come to Thailand with me. Im paying lol. I want him to speak to his care provider first - to make sure his mental health can handle it. His schizophrenia is a bit more severe than mine - bless him.

And do some sports.

If you restrict your calories and don’t do exercise:
-you will lose lean mass and look worse
-you will stall easier because you are lowering your metabolism

Jogging and some sort of resistance training. Do you have access to a weightroom?
Martial arts could be good as well if you’re interested.
Doing exercise is the clever way of losing fat, not the only. Ofc you will lose weight if only diet. But you want to lose fat and preserve muscle
