Whatās wrong with yāall ?
Never been to CA, but Iām in WI and my allergies have been hell with the farmers trying so late to salvage any crops they can. Weāve had like 12 inches of snow since Halloween and they said because of it the city isnāt gonna collect leaves this year, so all over town are huge piles of rotting leaves and lawn junk, then the hay/straw from the highways, ugh. Oct 19 my brother got married, and we got behind a trailer of hay, even with the windows up my allergies flared and I ended up with an allergic abscess that I had to go on antibiotics and multiple allergy meds for. Not fun. My face blew up it was nasty. Horrible photos for his big day.
Have you changed the air filter in your furnace? Thatās one other thing I can think of that may help.
Hi neighbor. Minnesota here. Itās funny I could drive with a blindfold on and know as soon as I crossed into WI. Your roads are way better than ours.
Iām feeling like ā ā ā ā tonight. A lot of really negative voices. Iām not doing well but I canāt afford to go to the hospital. Not like theyād do anything anyways since Iām not actively suicidal or homicidal. I should just go to bed.
Iām sorry you are having a rough night. Sometimes getting into bed and wrapping yourself in warm covers can bring a little comfort. I was there yesterday. Had voices while laying in bed but I was comfy so it was bearable. Hope this passes quickly for you.
I hope you feel better @LED
up a little late tonight. will probably go to bed soon. just watching news and basketball. the day completely got away from me, I didnāt do much. need to clean tomorrow and start applying for jobs, im hoping to work 20 hours a week. im also thinking itās about time to go back to school. life is boring but im doing well and in a good place. I think I can handle it all.
is there such a thing? Itās really bad, Iām not stuffed up but thereās always new, very loose fluid in there that gets in the way of my breathing just a hair and i have to blow it out.
Sure there is. Iāve never suffered from it myself but if it started shortly after you moved there could be something in your place that could be irritating you. But it could be outside stuff too. Maybe try a saline flush of your nasal passages. I used to get outdoor allergies when I was young so I understand how it feels.
Something I noticed with reducing brain inflammation significantly, your symptoms reduce and the ācrazy narrativeā is not so prevalent, where youāre always playing āconnect-the-dotsā with every little bit of sensory input you see, and have a laundry list of āsecret codesā and other weird bits of bullsh!t that only mean something to you.
Youāre better able to āput things in a vacuumā, like watch a video without connecting it to the crazy narrative, and make it purely self-referential, or only referencing things in a reasonable capacity, like a normie.
Not much just crouchy.
My mom is suggesting nasal spray but Iām not a big fan of the medicated stuff. Maybe Iāll get a saline spray and try that.
How are the meds treating ya ?
I hope no one takes offence.
Sometimes having a sense of humour about schizophrenia can help when ineis understanding and empathetic aswell.
I donāt know. I was just feeling really down. I took a step back and started reading a book, then I took a shower, and now I feel great! Iām ready to go out! Too bad itās after midnightā¦
Thank you for asking @anon57786250 and @roxanna. Roxanna, you were right- it did pass. I hope yours does, too.
Wow! It is great having ibs. Oh well. Whatās another challenge?
Yay! New Say Anything thread.
I just finished the book Psycho by Robert Bloch. It was actually pretty good. I didnāt think it would be so different from the Hitchcock film, but they really changed a lot around in the story when they adapted the book to the screenplay.
@ThePickinSkunk, @roxanna, and @LED.
I hope you all feel better soon.
