Four weeks ago I wanted to switch off Zyprexa because of the weight gain and being hungry all the time. My primary care doc wants me to lose weight because of the arthritis in my leg. My pdoc put me on 5mg Abilify.
I started hallucinating on 5mg after a couple of weeks, and a week ago I asked my primary care doc to up the dose until I could see a pdoc. He gave me 10mg.
Four days ago I stopped hallucinating and yesterday felt like I was coming back to my senses. My pdoc today gave me a prescription for 10mg. He said he wanted to keep the dose as low as possible due to the Akathesia side effect. So it looks like I’m set for the time being.
