Do you mean Saphris (aesenapine)? That was my med for most of my illness. It was very helpful, and I was much better on it. I took the 10mg sublingual tablets. My weight varied up and down during treatment, but it always does, even before sza and MI meds.

Saphris is the absolute best. I love how mellow it is. I love that it gets me sleepy and I can just drift off to sleep. I was taking all 20 mg at bedtime so I wouldn’t have drowsiness in the day. Worked perfect. I miss it so much.

What made you stop taking it? Did it stop working? How long were you on it?

Out of the blue I had an allergic reaction to it. I had been taking it 5 or 6 years. Sad.

Oh, what a bummer. I’ve had that happen with meds where they’re fine for a long time and then all of a sudden I’m allergic. Sucks!

Do you have to take a beta blocker with it for the akesthesia or no?

Saphris(Sycrest) has got lots of happy users.
