Yeah Syd. Ive watched the few videos there are of him. I dont think he was actually Dx Schizophrenia tho - i think they blamed the drug use.
I have a bit of floyd going most days off the echo speakers.

Do you know if he ever received treatment for his symptoms?
I think he was definitely SZ personally. The way he degraded at a young age to become much less than himself.
And even if it was due to drugs, its still SZ.

I think if he’d not gone off the rails psychologically, and had stayed in the band, then Pink Floyd would have been a much more innovative and quirky band. Years ago I bought the ‘Relics’ album, but only really liked ‘Arnold Layne’ & ‘See Emily play’.
