I run with my mom on weekdays. she’s on vacation so I haven’t been running. I like running with her because at her pace I can make it the whole 20 minutes. it gets my heart rate up and is a pretty good workout. im not in the best shape in my life we only run about 2 miles in 20 minutes, im hoping I will be able to do a 5k in 20 minutes in a years time or so.
like I said im not in the best shape of my life, I ran a 5:30 minute mile in the 7th grade to win a meet at track. but I stopped doing track after I got kicked off the team for skipping practice to play basketball. I should have kept running the 1600 meters, I was good at it.
I don’t run in the winter, just when it’s warm, so about 7 months.
I have been lifting though, but I need some cardio, can’t wait til she gets back
yeah she’s great. she’s really active for being in her 60’s. she swims 3 days a week, ski’s during the winter, and runs with me when it warms up. she also kayaks quite a bit in the summer. she’s in good health but for some reason she has to take blood pressure medication, im not sure if a person can cure that holistically or not.
