Does anyone reccomend a good antipsychotic to go with risperidone??
A little bit of Abilify to keep your prolactin levels low ?

I have no issues with breasts, not yet thankfully. I was thinking lurasidone because its side effect profile is low too

I take a small dose of Abilify every 6 months with my risperidone. It helps big time.

You make it sound like you are pairing a wine with your food.

Is it an injection you get?
Lovely bitter taste of citrus if you chew the tablets,! Cleanses the pallet

Yea I get risperidone consta injection every 2 weeks.
It’s not really your choice, you tell your doc what you are suffering from and he might try a ton of ap combinations until he finds the right one that’s suited for you. Besides, you can take one combination, change and then go back to the old one and it could be more effective, of course the dosages might change or add another med that helps it work it better.
Everyone is different, what might work for any of us might not work for you. I tried risperidone with clozapine and I did poorly cuz I slept a lot, I was sleeping 12 hours with classes, so I end up not studying as much as I wanted. Afterwards I did abilify with clozapine and I did even worst, so I end up returning to clozapine and risperidone combo but at the time I started doing agomelatine which made me perform a little bit better. Since then I think agomelatine made a difference in my life, since I stopped sleeping so many hours.
None of us is a doc and none of our experiences will help you find the right combo for you, only your life experiences and how you react to meds counts.
